Process

See step-by-step how the sculpture was created.
I hand sketched the design first, then I made paper model from strips of white paper that I folded. I made 3 different designs in Adobe Illustrator. I printed the final designs to be template for my sculpture. I cut 3 inch strips from the terra cotta slab, than I cut individual pieces and joined them together. Sculpture was left to dry for couple of weeks. It was bisque fired at cone 05 and glazed with the underglazes after. Final firing was done at cone 05.
