Inspiration
Sometimes when I walk I have images circling my head, sometimes when I walk I am snapping images around me.
There are always IMAGES in my head.
With my eyes, iPhone or camera I am collecting elements for my visual database.
Streets of Boston Back Bay, Arlington, Manhattan or Bratislava are abundant source of inspiration. The manhole covers, elevator buttons with its basic geometric shapes are building blocks for my sculptures.
Modern architecture with its simple lines is also intellectual and visual inspiration for my work.
Frank Ghery, Moshe Safdie, Renzo Piano, Aldo Rossi, Jan Kaplicky are few among my favorite architects.
